My job provides me with the opportunity to assist customers and co-workers on a daily basis. I truly enjoy assisting customers. Being the first point of contact to customers is very important. I know that I am the voice of Edmund Optics when a customer calls in and I want to make their experience a positive one so that they continue to come back to Edmund Optics. Lucy Lyons is the Customer Service Manager at Edmund Optics' Barrington, NJ, USA office. She is responsible for ensuring our customers have a great experience when they purchase from Edmund Optics. She is also responsible for International and Domestic customers and managing the representatives that handle servicing our sub office accounts. She enjoys helping customers, answering the phones, and processing orders. Lucy previously held positions as a Call Center Representative for Domestic (U.S.) Inquiries, before transitioning into handing International Inquiries, and Senior Catalog Sales Representative at the EO Barrington, NJ, USA office. She received a certificate in Printing from Camden County Vocational Technical School in Pennsauken, NJ.
My Biggest Accomplishment
I have made a lot of our processes paperless, including: returns, credits, and credit reference submittal. To better serve our customers, I helped implement Saturday customer service hours. I co-wrote the SAP training manual now being used to train our global staff. Additionally, I received a certification to perform ISO audits.
