Olympus Plan Fluorite Water Dipping Objectives utilize a water dipping design, where a layer of water between the objective and sample reduces refractive index mismatch and minimizes optical aberrations. This design enables superior transmission and high numerical aperture (NA) for excellent image clarity in live cell and aqueous applications. A 20X magnification, flat-field correction, and large field of view allow efficient sample navigation while maintaining fine structural detail. Olympus Plan Fluorite Water Dipping Objectives are ideal for fluorescence, brightfield, and differential interference contrast (DIC) microscopy. These objectives feature long working distances and wide approach angles that support electrophysiology applications using micromanipulators.

Note: These objectives feature a 75mm parfocal length and M25 threading, making them incompatible with Olympus’s standard 45mm parfocal length, RMS-threaded objectives. They are designed to be used with 180mm focal length tube lenses (#86-835, #75-250, and #23-723).
