TECHSPEC® Tapered Light Pipe Homogenizing Rods utilize total internal reflection to homogenize non-uniform light sources regardless of their spectral characteristics. These rods are perfect for use with LED sources. The Numerical Aperture (NA) of the light output is reduced proportionally to the magnification, allowing significant reduction in NA of the output light. TECHSPEC® Tapered Light Pipe Homogenizing Rods are available in both 2X and 3X magnifications. The uncoated rods are offered in Standard or Low NA Tapered Light Pipes.

Tapered Light Pipe Homogenizing Rod Mounts, specifically designed to hold our TECHSPEC® Tapered Light Pipe Homogenizing Rods, are available; these mounts greatly simplify the handling and integration of these components.
