可聚焦準直器包含兩個單獨元件:光纖與光纖調焦組件。光纖會運用PCX透鏡(位於自光纖頂端的焦距處)。這些準直器具有FC或SMA螺紋,能與數值孔徑為0.22的標準光纖纜線輕鬆耦合。可聚焦準直器能擴充光束,並降低發散性,降低倍率為光纖核心直徑與準直器孔徑的比率。光纖重新對焦組件直接安裝在光纖準直器上,可實現指定距離的最優對焦。
