Mitutoyo的物鏡馳名世界，制訂了長工作距離的顯微鏡光學的行業標準。使用了一種新的方法解決了工作距離與光學參數的矛盾，而這種方法為獨家首創。設計一個更大更長的顯微物鏡（95mm共軛距）可使設計更簡單，為盡可能保持較高的NA值與對比度，鏡片全部設計成平場複消色差結構。複消色差物鏡是針對紅光、藍光和黃光進行矯正，而普通的消色差鏡頭只對紅光和藍光進行矯正，平場複消色差鏡頭的價格不菲，但若大批量生產，成本甚至會降到低於消色差物鏡的價格。而且所有鏡片均已消除應力。優化過的亮場（平行照明到同軸光照明），這些鏡頭是線形照明的理想選擇。對於無限遠校正系統，需要有第二個鏡頭(收斂鏡頭Tube lens)。所有狀態的放大倍率基於焦距為200mm的收斂鏡頭(Tube lens)，安裝螺牙：M26 x 0.706 pitch (36 TPI)。配件鏡筒透鏡和 C 接口螺紋適配器可用於使 Mitutoyo 物鏡適應其他配置。
