TECHSPEC® Cage System Spheres, constructed of durable anodized aluminum, are designed to enable the intersection of optical paths. TECHSPEC® Cage System Spheres provide a more rigid joint than a cube constructed of standard cage system plates and angle brackets. Each face features M3 tapped holes to easily attach standard mounting plates, which are required for mounting rods to the sphere. Each sphere comes with 20 M3 cap screws. Replacement screws can be purchased separately (#85-433). For applications requiring a large optic to be mounted within a sphere, use a cage system sphere with one 43mm port. Cover disks are available to block unused optical paths.
