TECHSPEC®硒化鋅 (ZnSe) 窗鏡非常適用於多種紅外應用 (包括熱成像、FLIR與醫療系統)。此化學蒸著材料對熱衝擊的吸收係數低、抵抗能力強，因此廣泛用於高功率CO₂雷射系統。硒化鋅 (ZnSe) 材料相對較軟 (努氏硬度只有120)，易產生劃痕，建議不要在粗糙的環境中使用。在處理時請均勻用力，請戴上乳膠指套或手套防止弄髒。

Note: Special care should be taken when handling Zinc Selenide as it is a toxic material. Always wear rubber or plastic gloves to avoid risk of contamination.
